The theme of my project was “A Walk Through the Park”. I drove to my nearest park and immediately started recording as soon as I got out of my car. The park was very full, which surprised me since it was after the sun had gone down. The main points of interest are the tennis court, restrooms, volleyball area, playground, and swings. I decided to explain the surroundings with the voice-over commentary due to the sounds of people enjoying the park acting as context for each amenity. The isolated audio from the restrooms and parking lot was recorded in location but some of the other sounds had to be recreated with items in my house.
