What I like to focus on in my artwork is bringing grand and abstract ideas that seem to be purely from fiction into reality through architecture. It seems like our childhood becomes trapped in the mediums of art, the awe we would have when wondering about how interesting the world could be after experiencing an impactful song, book, film, or any other form of art. We would then leave the feelings behind as memories, just for us to experience those emotions again through those pieces of art. I am combating the idea that life has to be so technical, where everything has to follow one single step-by-step instruction, rather than creating new solutions for new ideas. With the mixture of architecture and fictional designs, the outside world can keep bringing out that awe and wonder that we all left behind in our past, once we see how narrow, repetitive, and bland our current surroundings can be. I currently indulge in many different forms of art to try to capture the mix of feelings and emotions that are portrayed while translating that into a physical experience that people can walk through.
